I Lost Another Dog Today

When Suzie died a few months back, it was rough, but she was the family dog and I wasn’t quite as attached. This one hurts, it hurts worse than losing my grandfather. This dog was my best friend. She was my shoulder to lean on when I needed something to listen. She was what felt like my only friend for a long period of time. She was my riding around buddy and my little explorer. This just sucks.

Thanks, she was getting up there for an American Bulldog, so we knew it was coming, but it wasn’t any easier.

I’m so sorry for your loss. Pets really are family. It’s tough when you lose your riding pal. I’ve been there. Br grateful for the time that you had together.

Pot and rescue a new dog/puppy. Those two got me through my loss.

The reason for pot is obvious. Rescuing the new kids who were scheduled to be put down helped me mentally in knowing that one’s death helped save the lives of these two.

My condolences, losing a dog is never easy.

Like yours, my dog was also my riding buddy, snack time pal, and always there to listen. Miss him so much.

I’m sorry for your loss. It hurts even more since a pet is a close friend and family member. You gave her a great life and home and that’s the most important part.

So sorry for your loss. It certainly rips your heart out to lose loved ones, human or not. I’d be lying if I said I still don’t get choked up thinking of my golden retriever I lost last September. I hope you find some solace in this tough time. Best wishes to you and yours.
